While this is a remote role, we have a strong preference for candidates located in NY, CA, FL, or ID to align with our regional hubs and operational footprint.
As the Production Manager (Cloud), your role is to provide a critical bridge between the commercial teams at Grabyo and the product and engineering teams. You are the technical and editorial authority in the room. You aren't just presenting a slide deck; you are architecting cloud production and live video workflows for the world’s leading media brands. You will act as a field-based production consultant who deeply understands the nuances of producing live events, outside broadcast, TV galleries, remote solutions, signal flow, and cloud infrastructure.
You will become an expert on the Grabyo platform, capable of troubleshooting complex live event scenarios and demonstrating how cloud-native production delivers superior results compared to traditional hardware setups. Because you have professional experience in broadcast galleries or live production suites, you possess a unique combination of editorial and technical mindsets. This allows you to advise customers not just on how the technology works, but on how to build engaging, broadcast-quality live shows.
Working closely with the Sales team, you will provide in-depth demonstrations for technical and production representatives at any prospect or customer. You will stay at the forefront of the industry, keeping informed about cloud production trends and the competitive landscape to ensure Grabyo remains the partner of choice for live content creators.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Editorial Consultation
Act as a strategic creative partner, advising clients on production layouts, screen aesthetics, and content themes that drive audience engagement.
Use an editorial mindset to demonstrate how Grabyo’s platform can be used to execute high-quality live productions that rival traditional broadcast.
Proactively suggest content ideas and engagement strategies that help customers maximize the value of their live programming.
Cloud Workflow Architecture
Design and present scalable, production-grade architectures that integrate with customer ecosystems, including cloud environments, direct feeds (SRT/Haivision), and social platforms.
Lead high-impact product demonstrations that focus on the user experience in the gallery, from video switching to real-time audio mixing.
Serve as a technical authority on signal routing and live feed management to ensure high levels of resilience and confidence for major events.
Commercial & Product Liaison
Partner with the Sales team as a technical expert to build prospect confidence and close high-value deals. Lead the technical response for RFPs and RFIs, ensuring the proposed solutions meet both technical requirements and (cloud) production best practices.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize features that solve real-world production challenges and improve the experience for users and production teams.
Identify relevant new client projects and growth opportunities for Grabyo by analyzing technical trends in the region.
Operational Excellence
Support the commercial team on product demonstrations, new customer onboarding, and technical training.
Act as a main contact and technical escalation point for our customers, assisting in maintaining a good working relationship with the Grabyo Support team.
Research competitors’ products and technical platforms in order to clearly articulate Grabyo’s advantages and challenges.
Support global regions (e.g., up to 20% support for APAC) to ensure technical consistency across the Grabyo ecosystem.
